Plaque Presented to John Ward Les Redpath |
| Most of you know that John Ward retired as
Editor-in-Chief of Radiation Research at the end of last year. He remains with the journal
as one of the senior associate editors. While Johns tenure of 3 years as
Editor-in-Chief was relatively brief, it was one in which the journal continued to make
strides. Perhaps the most significant of these was the changing of publishers which
resulted in a major financial gain to the society. John also made a major contribution to
researching the process of moving into electronic publication of the journal. John, in
recognition of your careful and truly dedicated stewardship of the journal, I present you
with this plaque.
J. Ward, recent past Editor-In-Chief of Radiation Research, thanks all who have helped make the journal a prominent publication, especially during his tenure. Return to Business Meeting Report Return to the August 2001 Table of Contents |
