My life in the outdoors.When I'm not in the lab I enjoy many aspects of the outdoors. I am an avid hunter and eagerly look forward to the fall when I pursue quail and pheasants across the Kansas prairies with my hunting partners, King, a Brittany, and Gunbelt's MoKan Buck, an English Pointer from my home state of Alabama (Gunsmoke Kennels).
In the spring one will often find me down in Chase County, Kansas, the land of Prairy Erth, pursuing the wily wild turkey. Sometimes I am successful, often I am not, but the country is beautiful this time of year.
In the summer I try to manage a few days off to flyfish for trout in the mountains of the Western US or perhaps King salmon on Vancouver Island, BC. I also occasionally manage to cram in a few hours on my bike.
