Information for Applicants
Applying for the Pre-Doctoral Internships in Psychology
Applicants should be individuals enrolled in Ph.D. or Psy.D. programs in clinical or counseling psychology. They should be candidates for their degree in psychology from programs accredited by American Psychological Association or Canadian Psychological Association. The training director of their graduate program must have determined that they are ready for internship training. They must have achieved at a minimum of 750 hours of practicum training in psychological assessment and treatment. They should have passed their doctoral comprehensive examinations by deadline for applications.
All applications for our psychology internship should be submitted in accordance with the procedures of the APPIC Application for Psychology Internships (AAPI Online) at: http://www.appic.org/AAPI-Online#APP. The deadline for applications for the 2011-12 academic year is November 15, 2011. No application materials need to be, or should be, submitted by mail. This internship site agrees to abide by the APPIC policy that no person at this training facility will solicit, accept or use any ranking-related information from any intern applicant.
The anticipated stipend is $24,000.00.
Intern Selection Procedures
Applying for the Post-Doctoral Fellowships in Psychology
DEADLINE JANUARY 27, 2012
Individuals must submit the following materials to the department:
1. A formal letter of application. This letter should outline the applicant’s academic and clinical background, and provide objectives for post-doctoral training.
2. Current Curriculum Vita (C.V.)
3. Three letters of reference, signed and sealed.
4. An official copy of all graduate transcripts.
5. For the NeuroRehabilitation position, please also provide a de-identified work sample.
