Monica Kurylo, Ph.D., Clinical Assistant Professor at KUMC, received her master’s and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology (health/rehabilitation emphases) at the University of Kansas in 1994 and 1997, respectively. She interned at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and received postdoctoral training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and at Emory University, in rehabilitation psychology and neuropsychology. Dr. Kurylo’s professional and research interests include advocacy, practice issues, disability, and women’s health. She serves as liaison for Division 22 (Rehabilitation Psychology) of the American Psychological Association to the Board for the Advancement of Psychology in the Public Interest and is active in Division 22 activities.
