Sharon E. Cain, M.D., Director of Residency Training for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry since 2000, became a member of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry faculty at the University of Kansas Medical Center in1998. She graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1983 and completed her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency at KUMC in 1988. She was in private practice in Overland Park from 1988 until 1998. Dr. Cain was the President of the Medical Staff at the North Hills Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri in 1987 and the President of the Medical Staff at Charter Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas in 1996. She is currently involved in several Telemedicine clinics as well as a Schizophrenia Study and a Depression Study.
