Applications for the Psychiatry and Medicine/Psychiatry Residency Programs are processed through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Visit the ERAS website for additional application instructions. Both of the above categorical residency programs participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
The NRMP requires programs to provide complete, accurate, and timely information to interviewees, including a copy of the contract the applicant will be expected to sign if matched to the program, if such contract is available, or a copy of the contract currently in use. Programs also must provide all institutional policies regarding eligibility for appointment to a residency position. This information must be communicated to interviewees in writing prior to the rank order list certification deadline.
Institutional policies regarding eligibility for appointment to a residency position can be found in the Housestaff Policy and Procedure Manual (PDF).
