Rhonda Johnson, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor within the Departments of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences and Medical Oncology at the University of Kansas Medical Center.  She received her doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology at Oklahoma State University and has internship and postdoctoral experience in Health Psychology at the University of Oklahoma.  Dr. Johnson is also a Certified Sex Therapist and Sex Educator (American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists).  She serves on the Quality of Life Committee for the Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG).  Dr. Johnson has over ten years experience in psychological oncology focused on wellness for cancer patients and cancer survivors. She has published in several peer-reviewed journals related to her research interest in quality of life and survivorship for cancer survivors.
