myKUMC serves the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. Read more about the portal project in the About section. The base set of services available to all portal users include campus announcements, bookmarks, campus events, and a password change utility.

Student Services
myKUMC serves 1,900 students from the School of Medicine, School of Allied Health, and School of Nursing. As of Fall 2003, student services that are incorporated in the portal include:

• Blackboard course listings and single-sign on

• Leave balances
• Benefits information like medical, dental, and vision insurance information, retirement plan information

Staff/Faculty Services
myKUMC serves 3,500 staff and faculty from the university. Information found on the Services tab includes:

• Network password changes
• Managing your spam email quarantine preferences
• Purchasing Microsoft software and Dell personal PCs at discounted rates
• KUMC software downloads
• Training and development resources
• Departmental billing information for voice, network, mailroom, and library
