The University of Kansas Hospital and Medical Center has announced that the groundbreaking national clinical trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of PolyHemeŽ, a temporary oxygen-carrying red blood cell substitute, has ended with the successful enrollment of 720 patients nationwide.
