Research Interest
The most fascinating characteristic of all living things is their ability to store, utilize, and pass on information. Bioinformatics utilizes multiple data-based computational analyses of diverse disciplines in biomedical research. It is primarily used to study the biology and genetics of many organisms from the less complex (multi-cellular organisms) to the most complicated organism, human. My research is focused on bioinformatics strives to resolve what information is biologically important and to decipher how it is used to properly control the environment within living organisms. Through the analyses of diverse biological databases, various computational models can be constructed to approximate many complex processes responsible for life-science systems and greatly increase our knowledge of comparative genetics, and how related genes encode functionally related proteins.
