In Dr. Brian Petroff's lab, I am interested in the study of breast and ovarian cancer prevention. We use a rat model of simultaneous breast and ovarian cancer to characterize both diseases as well as to evaluate the efficacy of chemopreventive agents. We also work in conjunction with the Breast Cancer Prevention Center at the KU hospital for several projects.
