Research Interests

Broadly, I am investigating the effects of metabolic regulators on placental development. This includes such compounds as retinoic acid as well a number of adipokines. My research focuses on the development of the human placenta, specifically differentiation of cytotrophoblast cells to syncytiotrophoblasts.
