How to Access Email
KUMC uses Groupwise as their email system. As a student, you can access your email a number of ways:
- Groupwise Webmail at http://webmail.kumc.edu
- Click on the "Email" link at the top of each KUMC webpage
- Click on the "Email" links in myKUMC
Important Information about KUMC Email
It is highly important that you check your KUMC email at least once a day, especially when you are taking classes. This is the first line of communication the university uses to communicate with students.
If you are taking a course that uses ANGEL (KUMC's course management system) then all course email will be forwarded to your KUMC Groupwise email. Since this is the case, it is important when you are taking an online course that you check your email every day for any course information or announcements.
Online Course Evaluations
As a student, you may receive an email containing a link to the evaluation form, or your instructor may post the link in ANGEL. Sometimes, you may be required to fill out a paper evaluation if you are taking a hybrid or face-to-face class.
