About the Office of International Programs organizational structure
The University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) Office of Academic and Student Affairs team is dedicated to serving students, postdocs, faculty, staff and the medical center's international population in support of academic and research pursuits. Our goal is to enable their success in supporting the academic mission of the university.
- The Office of Academic and Student Affairs provides oversight and guidance of academic programs in the Schools of Health Professions, Nursing, and Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
- The Office of International Programs is one of six departments within the Office of Academic and Student Affairs.
The KUMC Office of Academic and Student Affairs is led Robert M. Klein, Ph.D., Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs. Dr. Klein acts as the chief academic officer for the medical center academic community by providing leadership and guidance for academic units in our three schools: medicine, nursing and health professions.
