Karen L. Miller, PhD, RN, Senior Vice Chancellor of the University of Kansas Medical Center and Dean of the University of Kansas School of Allied Health, presides over the 2009 School of Allied Health Student Recognition Ceremony
On May 16, 2009 families and friends gathered to recognize the allied health students who would 'walk down the hill' the following day to graduate from the University of Kansas. Dr. Karen L. Miller, Senior Vice Chancellor and Dean of the School of Allied Health and Dr. Barbara Atkinson, Executive Vice Chancellor of the University of Kansas Medical Center, addressed the students to wish them well and then congratulated them individually as their names were called to cross the stage. The ceremony was held in the Gymnasium at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas. One hundred sixty students from 15 degree programs participated.
