KUMC Researcher Leads New Alzheimer's Discovery

Jeff Burns, MD, director of the Alzheimer and Memory program and assistant professor of neurology at the University of Kansas Medical Center, has authored a groundbreaking study detailing the effects of physical fitness on Alzheimer’s disease.
His research found that patients who were more physically fit had significantly less brain shrinkage than those in poorer condition.
