US Senator Pat Roberts visits The University of Kansas Cancer Center

Senator Pat Roberts (Kansas) visited The University of Kansas Cancer Center for a briefing and tour of the Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Center Pavilion on Monday, June 8th. Senator Roberts was briefed by Roy Jensen, MD, director of The University of Kansas Cancer Center and Scott Weir, PharmD, PhD, director of the Institute for Advancing Medical Innovation, on the progress made toward achieving National Cancer Institute designation and the advances in cancer drug development.
