The Office of Enterprise Analytics (EA) and the Division of Medical Informatics (MI) provide relative expertise to the University of Kansas Medical Center and external organizations alike.  Enterprise Analytics provides business intelligence and analytical support to enhance decision making on campus.  Medical Informatics helps translational/clinical researchers and other health professionals apply biomedical informatics.

Both departments have opportunities for students to gain valuable hands-on experience during the Spring 2015 semester.  The résumé-building positions are part-time and hourly.  Students may be primarily housed in Enterprise Analytics or Medical Informatics, depending on background and academic focus.  Areas of exploration include: business development, survey building, data analysis, and software development.

The Division of Medical Informatics currently has an opportunity for a Postdoctoral Fellow to come be part of a rapidly growing team developing informatics to further biomedical research and quality healthcare, and serving a dynamic community. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for software development, scientific discovery, and improving healthcare. This person will be responsible for maintaining and developing enterprise analytics and data warehouse applications as well as medical informatics applications to support Kansas University Medical Center.
