Research Focus

Effects of estrogen on the autonomic nervous system of the heart

I grew up in a suburb of Wichita, and finished high school at Olathe North in the Kansas City Metro. As an undergraduate student at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, I studied in a Molecular Biology/Biochemistry lab designing fluorescent protein biosensors. My interests have broadened to include primarily research that is directly applicable to medicine.
