Pilot Projects 2011


Program Overview

The Liver Center and the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center plan to fund pilot projects for one year beginning in January 2011.  The goals of this funding are to promote clinical and translational research in liver disease, collaboration between researchers and clinicians, and to promote optimal use of the KU Liver Center Tissue Bank.

Eligibility

Faculty level researchers are eligible to apply.  All clinical and translational research projects in liver disease are welcome; however, special consideration will be given to projects involving direct patient related research.

Funding

In 2010, Pilot Grants were one-year awards of up to $35,000 starting in January 2011.
