Create a LeadBuster Collage

Objective: To create a LeadBuster collage that demonstrates lead poisoning prevention.

Goals: To use fine motor skills, work with different media and experience free expression.

Supplies: Ribbon, yarn, toothpicks, buttons, paint, paint brushes, construction paper, crayons, glue and any other "beautiful junk" that is available.

Directions: After an adult presents age-appropriate information about how to prevent lead poisoning, children should create a LeadBuster collage using materials that are provided. The LeadBuster collage should express ways to prevent lead poisoning.

Note: Each month, LeadBusters of Greater Kansas City will publish photographs of LeadBuster collages on this webpage. Please submit a photograph of your LeadBuster collage to LeadBusters, Inc., P.O. Box 3098, Kansas City, Kansas, 66103. Include your first name and your city and state.
