Sharee A. Wiggins, NP, Post-MS(N) is dually board certified as a both a Geriatrics NP and Adult NP. She originally tripled boarded by including Family Practice. She is a Core Faculty Member in the Geriatric Medicine Clerkship, and the Kansas Reynolds Program in Aging. Her practice focuses on the care of both complex and stable frail older adults in Rehab, Nursing Facility, and Assisted Living environments. Her professional interests include heart failure, pain management, and ethics in end of life care. She is passionate about clinical excellence in the care of older adults and medical education. She has been an invited speaker for numerous professional programs.
NP Wiggins began her KU faculty career in 1990 at KUSON and was Lead Faculty for undergraduate Critical Care 5 years and then adjunct graduate faculty teaching Physical Diagnosis/Assessment and clinical geriatrics courses at the rank of Assistant Professor until 2005.
