Research Institute - Lied and Bridging Grants

1. Faculty salary is not allowed.
2. GRA & Research Technician salary support is allowed if listed on approved budget.
3. Travel is not permitted unless it's clearly needed to collect data.
4. Equipment purchase should not exceed 10% of the total budget.
5. Research supplies are allowed.
6. Animal Care is allowed.
7. Lab Service fees are allowed.
8. Computers are not allowed.
9. Office Supplies, memberships, dues, and local phone charges are not allowed.
10. Parking fees, medical licenses, entertainment costs, and any other personal expenses are not allowable.
11. No-cost extension/rebudgeting requests need to be submitted to RI Executive Director for approval.
