Role of The Research Institute, Inc. for privately sponsored clinical trials

The Research Institute is the official contracting and fiscal entity for privately sponsored clinical trials at the University of Kansas Medical Center. The Clinical Research Administration Division is a central office that supports the investigators and institution by preparing consent, IRB submission, regulatory document filing, budget preparation, contract review and internal administrative procedures.

The RI employees are considered agents of the institution. All RI employees sign a confidentiality agreement.
