The 2017 Capitol Graduate Research Summit will be held on March 10th, 2017 at the State Capitol building in Topeka, KS. The CGRS is an annual showcase of research conducted by graduate students from Kansas institutions. Participating students present their research to state legislators, the Kansas Board of Regents, university administrators, as well as to the general public in Topeka, KS. Five students will be chosen to represent the KU Medical Center along with fellow graduate students from other Kansas institutions. Judges will select the top two presenters from each of the institutions and award each student with a scholarship.
In order to participate, students must have presented at the Student Research Forum in the previous year. Departments will then nominate the top performers in their area to participate in the Capitol Graduate Research Summit. More information regarding the Student Research Forum can be found on their website.
