Where is the InterContinental Hotel?
The InterContinental Hotel is located on the south side of Brush Creek at the southwest corner of Ward Parkway and Wornall on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Mo. You will recognize it as the tallest building overlooking the Plaza.

Where do I park?
The parking lot & main entrance is located off Wornall south of the intersection of Ward Parkway and Wornall. There is also parking off Ward Parkway with an entrance to the Ballroom level.

Is there a fee for parking?
Complimentary

What time is check-in?
3:00 pm

Is there a registration fee?
No

Where is registration?
Registration is located outside Salon 1A and 1B which is located on the Ballroom level. From the front entrance of the hotel take the elevators down to level B. Follow the signs once you leave the elevator.

Where are the events being held?
Meetings will be held in Salon IA & IB. The poster sessions will be held in Salon II. Meal locations are at detailed on the Menu page. Please visit the Maps page to view a map of the Ballroom level.

What is the size of the poster board we will be using?
4’ H x 8’W

Where do I set up my poster?
The poster boards are located in Salon II/III. Each board will be numbered, corresponding to an abstract number in the symposium program.

When do I set up and take down my poster?
Posters must be set up between 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2008 and taken down before noon on Sunday, January 20, 2008 . Removal of your poster is your responsibility. Posters left up after 12:00 p.m. on Sunday will be discarded.

Will I need to bring my own push pins?
There will be approximately 15 push pins attached to each board for your use. If additional pins are needed they are available at the registration desk. Unused pins can be returned to the registration desk for others use. At the end of the meeting please leave your push pins in the poster board.

What is expected of me during the poster sessions if I am presenting a poster?
Poster sessions are divided into Poster session A for all odd numbered abstracts & Poster Session B for all even numbered abstracts (See Schedule of Events for times). During your assigned poster session present & answer questions for those viewing your poster. You are encouraged to visit your colleague’s posters during the alternate session.
