Funding Opportunities & Awards*
Star Trainees
The K-INBRE “Star Trainee Program” is designed to identify outstanding prospective biomedical researchers during their junior year in college, and provide financial support during the senior year. Encouragement to progress to graduate training is expected from the award of funds to the Kansas institution of higher learning that has accepted an application for graduate training from the Star Trainee. Applicants are encouraged to work with graduate program directors listed to identify graduate programs and mentors.
