Joining Forces at the University of Kansas Medical Center

The University of Kansas Medical Center has joined other medical schools nationwide in the Association of American Medical College's (AAMC) support of Joining Forces, a national initiative started by First Lady Michelle Obama that mobilizes all segments of society to give service members and their families the opportunities and support they have earned. We have signed a pledge recognizing the sacrifice and commitment of our military service members, veterans, and their families and have committed to mobilize our integrated missions in education, research, and clinical care to train our nation's physicians to meet the health care needs of the military and their families.
