Basic Requirements of Maintaining Status

Maintain a current, valid Form I-94 for H-1B status in your passport, which should also be current at all times.
Work only for the employer for whom you have USCIS authorization.
Report any change of address for yourself or your dependents to USCIS, the Office of International Programs, and the KUMC Payroll office. To report the change of address to USCIS complete the AR11 form.
Do not engage in any professional activity outside KUMC without prior authorization from the Office of International Programs. Depart the U.S. immediately upon termination of your employment. There is no grace period for individuals in H status.
