Exchange Visitors (J-1)

By definition, an Exchange Visitor is participating in a particular program in order to increase their knowledge of the U.S. through educational and cultural exchange. Likewise, there is exchange between the Visitor and the institution in which they are sponsored.

Exchange Visitors may come to KUMC as students, professors, or researchers. They must be sponsored by a KUMC department. While at KUMC they must follow the regulations of the Exchange Visitor program and maintain status.
