Summer 2012

GSMC 800 Scientific Communication 2 credits

• A hybrid class with June online and July in the classroom
• June 06 will have online assignments that can be done after enrolling
• July 5-July 29 Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 9:00-11:30 a.m.
• Class Limit: 10
• 6-7.5 hours didactic lecture,1-3 hours ESL computer lab recordings, 1-3 hours using ESL computer lab support software, 1 hour one-on-one review with instructor each of the four weeks in July
• Recommended for those taking the SPEAK test and for improving speaking skills, including pronunciation

Fall 2012

GSMC 800 Scientific Communication 2 credits

• Thursdays 2:00-4:00pm, August 25-December 8
• Class Limit:15
• 2 hours didactic lecture, 1 hour ESL computer lab recordings, 1 hour using ESL computer lab support software, 1 hour one-on-one review with instructor per week
• Recommended for those taking the SPEAK test and for improving speaking skills, including pronunciation

GSMC 808 Scientific Communication 0 credits

• Tuesdays, 2:00-4:00pm, August 23-December 6
• Class Limit: 15
• 2 hours didactic lecture, 1.5 hours ESL computer lab support software and weekly quizzes
• Recommended for those re-taking the TOEFL test or for boosting academic English skills
