Elluminate is a commercial product intended as a one-to-many teaching tool.  It is PC based and requires familiarity for optimal use.

How to Use

• Ideally instructor would sit at their computer with head-worn mic and earpiece
• Teach a number of participants at remote site computers
• Instructor logs in to Elluminate web site
• Waits for remote sites to log in
• Begins teaching using primarily PowerPoint and spoken word

How to Schedule

• Determine if desktop or room based use
• If room based, coordinate room availability and configuration with Instructional Services (8-7326).  30 minutes setup and tear down time is required for equipment installation. Setup is limited to 6 microphones
• Coordinate with TLT for log-in and password
• Get time that is available on Elluminate server
• Coordinate remote sites with connection time and log-in
