Computer Logon Procedures

Important information regarding classroom and auditorium computer log on procedures.

Due to the need to improve network and computer security, starting on January 1, 2005 the classroom and auditorium computers will be added to the KUMC domain allowing KUMC faculty, staff, and students to log on to the PC’s as they would their own workstations.

 The new procedures…

  • Log on to the computers as you would your own workstation.
  • All users must log off of the computers when they are finished.
  • Presentations and other files cannot be stored on classroom computers.
  • Programs cannot be downloaded and/or installed from the network, internet, or other sources.  To inquire about a temporary program installation, please contact Mark Grabendike at 8-7326, 8-7371or email at mgrabendike@kumc.edu.

Providing secure, up-to-date, operational, and excellent conditioned resources is our top priority.  If you have any questions regarding these changes, please contact Instructional Services at 8-7326.
