    Chemical/Biochemical Instrumentation

    Several analytical techniques, including IEF, and continuous FF electrophoresis; HPLC/EC of polymers and low molecular weight compounds; conventional techniques of chromatography (Column, TLC,GLC); UV-Vis, CD, IR, and fluorescence spectroscopy. Experienced with most analytical chemistry instrumentation such as Karl Fisher, viscosimetry, densitometry and mass spectrometry.

    Chemical/Biochemical Methods

    Experienced in traditional protein chemistry methods such as SDS-PAGE, Western blot, moderate scale protein purification, antisera production, immunochemical techniques and enzyme assays and implementation of novel methods. Relevant experience in methods to analyze macromolecular interactions such as analytical ultracentrifugation, multiangle laser light scattering (MALLS) photometry, microcalorimetry (ITC/DSC) and optical biosensors.

    Molecular Biology Methods

    Familiar with most recombinant DNA techniques such as PCR, northern blot, expression libraries, site directed mutagenesis. Experienced with most microbiological techniques.

    Industrial Experience

    Background in QC/QA of pharmaceuticals. Experience in statistical methods, computer-based analysis of data and abstracting for technical publications. Familiar with basic GLP/GMP and safety regulations.

    Computer Skills

    Proficient in many software applications including data-bases, editors, graphics and image processing using any computer platform. Working knowledge of HTML and internet related applications.
