• ES-10: Appoint a Clinical Librarian responsible for working with faculty and students in School of Medicine year 3 and 4, School of Nursing clinical courses, and School of Allied Health clinical courses by August 2008. (KC)
• ES-17: Work with KU Lawrence to integrate SAKU self-service functionality into the student portal. (JW)
• ES-30:Create self-service portal for occupational therapy preceptor sites; begin February 2010 and complete by April 1, 2011. (JW)
• ES-34:  Work with faculty in the DNP program in the School of Nursing to identify skills (scholarly publishing, evidence-based practice) required to meet core compentencies and then in collaboration with faculty integrate instruction to assure competency of students in the program by June 1, 2011 (KC)
• ES-36:  Review online testing software based upon criteria identified by the Testing Services Team and the Testing Center Advisory Committee and approved by the Teaching and Learning Technologies Planning Committee to determine if LXR continues to meet the needs of faculty at KUMC or if another product is a better fits by January 14, 2011 (KC)
• ES-50:  Research the availability of a self service solution for adding funds to a GoPrint printing account by credit card or cash by October 1, 2012 (KC)

Research support

• RS-11: Seek funding to implement the search application identified in RS-6. Work closely with stakeholders in the School of Medicine in particular to solve an identified need with the implementation of the search application. (KC)

• AS-6: Implement the New Hire Workflow module in PeopleSoft by June 2009. (JB)
• AS-9: Using SharePoint Server, InfoPath, and MS Certificate Server, develop the creation and use of electronic forms and workflow including digital signature by spring 2009 (this objective depends on objectives CC-1, CC-2, and IA-1. (JW)

• NSI-6: Implement Network Node Validation by July 2009. (MF)
• NSI-7: Implement a formal Network Operations Center by June 2009. (MF)
• NSI-8: Implement a comprehensive network management and monitoring tool suite by June 2009. (MF)
• NSI-12: Implement complete redundancy of our Internet connectivity including provider redundancy to assure very high availability of Internet access by the end of summer 2011. (MF)

• IA-2a: Implement the ability to automatically create and maintain groups based on roles or characteristics of individuals in our IdM meta-tree by December 31, 2011.  (SS)
• IA-8: Develop and implement a process to assure that email distribution lists maintained by IR are accurate by December 31, 2011. (SS)
• IA-18:  Work with the Graduate Medical Education office to develop a proposal for review and potential acceptance by Children's Mercy Hospital to provide some library resources, services, and teaching to faculty and residents at CMH by June 1, 2011 (KC)
• IA-19:  Provide campus access to library statistics on usage and activity (e.g. testing center, facility, training, expenditures, course reserves, ILL, reference, etc.) that departments and University administration can use for annual reports, annual reviews, survey responses and accreditation reviews. by July 1, 2011 (KC)
• IA-20:  Work with deans and directors of the Regent institutions in the development of a proposal to submit to COCAO and KBOR.  Focus of the proposal is the creation of a State system and centralized support in resource licensing, distance education, digital collections, research, preservation/archiving by March 1, 2012 (KC)

Information security

• IS-4: Implement a "security event manager" to analyze and summarize the voluminous data we get from security logs (thus alerting us to potential security issues) sometime during FY2009. (SC)
• IS-15: Develop an Application Database that tracks all applications running at KUMC under the responsibility of Information Resources.  It will include server references and interdependencies with other applications by June 30, 2008. (JW, SC)
• IS-24: Implement device encryption on USB devices by March 31, 2011 (SC)
