ITV Presentation Tips | Video Release Form
Teaching and Learning Technologies provides a wide variety of Interactive Television conferencing solutions. Teaching and Learning Technologies has 17 ITV capable rooms of varying sizes, locations, and arrangements. Providing current technologies in environments that are well suited to presentation and learning is our top priority.
Staffing costs for ITV events vary. Staffing by media technicians is required for all ITV events. This charge is $13.00 per hour for University events and $23.00 per hour for Hospital events during normal business hours (8 A.M. to 5 P.M., Monday through Friday). Overtime rates are $19.50 per hour for University events and $34.50 per hour for Hospital events outside business hours (before 8 A.M., after 5 P.M. or on weekends). 30 minute to one hour setup and tear down time is added to your event time for the technicians. The above rates are incurred during the setup and tear down time as well. Please note that these prices are for the University of Kansas Medical Center and KU Hospital departments only. ITV requests should be made at least one week in advance to improve chances of technician and room availability.
To schedule an ITV please follow these steps.
- Gather information required by Scheduling Agent:
- Email: tlt-media@kumc.edu or call (913) 588--7326 with the above information ready to schedule the event..
- If the room and equipment are available at the requested time, the Scheduling Agent will advise you to contact your remote sites and confirm their availability.
- When you have confirmed availability of the remote sites, Teaching and Learning Technologies will finalize the reservation with you via an e-mail confirmation with dial-in numbers if applicable.
