Compliance Training with TLC

The University of Kansas Medical Center offers a wide variety of online compliance training resources through the TLC online training system. TLC offers KUMC users the ability to complete mandatory and optional professional training online at their own pace and on their own schedule. Users may access TLC either on-campus or from any remote location with Internet access.

Many different types of training are currently being delivered, managed, and tracked in TLC including:

  • Information Security Awareness
  • Safety Training
  • HIPAA
  • FERPA
  • Preventing Harassment in the Workplace

What are some exciting and useful capabilities of TLC?

  • 24/7 access to online compliance training resources.
  • Access anytime to your personal training history.
  • Module owners have the ability to record and track in-person training within the TLC database.

How do I begin using TLC?

Users who are required to complete training in TLC should login using their KUMC network credentials, either directly or through my.kumc.edu.

If you require the use of a screen reader while doing your compliance training. TLC works best when using Internet Explorer and Chrome. We do not suggest using Firefox. When using the keyboard to navigate your training there are a few keyboard shortcuts to keep in mind. To advance to the next slide use control+enter, to go back to the previous slide use shift+enter, and to start your training over while on the last slide use control+enter.

Contact 913-588-7107 or TLCUniversity@kumc.edu with questions you have about adding your training content to TLC.
