New audio conferencing system coming in spring 2016 for university and health system employees (hospital and former UKP employees). University Telecommunications and Networking will be deploying a new audio conferencing system early in 2016 to replace the current conference bridge. The new system, called Acano, will be available to all campus employees and have 10 times the capacity of the current audio conferencing system. The new system features include an easy-to-use website for scheduling and administering your audio conference calls. Users will be able to see who is logged on to their calls and mute/unmute or disconnect callers if necessary. Acano allows for more secure conference calling with the ability to schedule the calls using unique login IDs and passwords. Training on the new system will be available in March and April.
A bridge conference call is for four or more callers who want to conference together by telephone to conduct a meeting.
Please be aware that bridge line conference calls are not secured lines. If you need to converse about personal information please request an Intercall audio conferencing services calling card via Telecommunications at 913-588-4990.
Use the online Bridge Conference Call Scheduling System (login required)
