New ticket system to request IR services

Information Resources (IR) is moving to a new ticket tracking system, effective Jan. 12, 2016. With the new system, IR will be able to add more services to its Service Catalog and consolidate services into a common platform. Along with the expanded services, this system will also offer an improved user experience. Employees and students can access the system, which is compatible with multiple browsers, including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari or Google Chrome, from their computer or tablet while on or off campus.

Users will access the system through the same website, but will be redirected to an external site which looks much different. Beyond the look and feel, the transition should be seamless and the new system will be intuitive to the user. Below is a preview of the new screen.
