Information Resources manages the central information resources and services of the KUMC community including:

  • Computer Support - HP computers are standard at KUMC. Call Customer Support at 913-588-7995 for assistance with computer problems or for information about our services, or open a ticket online (userid/password required).
  • Employee portal - myKUMC provides access to pay and benefits information; Dykes Library; training; a campus calendar and announcements; and a variety of services including password changes, software downloads, and WebDrive.
  • Email - Our email services include both client and web-based access to Microsoft Outlook, secure (encrypted) email, and spam management
  • Training - A variety of training is offered both in person or online using Atomic Learning (accessed through myKUMC)
  • KUMC web site - Our web site enables communication both internally and externally and includes an online phone directory
  • Dykes Library - Books, print and online journals, online databases, computer workstations, study rooms and a computer-based exam facility are available in the library
  • Learning Management System - ANGEL is administered by Teaching and Learning Technologies
  • Web conferencing - Adobe Connect offers real-time online interaction with audio, video, text chat, whiteboard, slideshows and screen sharing.
  • Collaboration - MicroSoft Sharepoint enables collaborative activities (e.g., document sharing, committee activities, grant development) and workflow
  • Data warehouse - The KUMC Data Warehouse integrates data from a variety of sources.
