Dr. Robert Lee presented on Health Care Reform at the University of Missouri-KC Community Conversations

On February 27 Dr. Robert Lee presented an overview called "Practical Steps for Reform: What Employers Should be Thinking About" at the University of Missouri-KC Community Conversations about Health Care Reform.

On Monday, February 22 Dr. Marci Nielsen will be presenting a tele-seminar: "The American Health Care System" to Yerevan State Medical University in Armenia.

Professor Mary Zimmerman published in Women's Health Issues

Professor Mary Zimmerman has just had a paper entitled "The Role of Governments in Health Care: Implications for Women's Health and Access to Care" accepted for publication in the journal,Women's Health Issues. The paper is co-authored with Elizabeth Legerski.

Dr. Michael Fox Accepts Position with the CDC

Dr. Michael Fox, Professor, has accepted a position as Associate Director for Science in the Division of Human Development and Disability, National Center for Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities with the CDC, where he will help guide research and policy related to the health of persons with disability nationally.
