Program Competencies

The Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) has identified* the following competencies that each accredited program should meet throughout the course of a master's-level education:

  11. Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  12. Statistical analysis and application
  13. Economic analysis and application to decision making
  14. Market analysis, research, and assessment
  15. Financial analysis and management
  16. Ethics in business and clinical decision-making
  17. Strategy formulation and implementation
  18. Quality assessment for patient care improvement
