Deb Lewis is the Operations and Student Support Manager for the Department of Health Policy and Management.

Deb received a B.A. in Special Education from Avila College and an M.A. in Educational Administration-Higher Education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.  Her professional career has been primarily in the area of higher education student affairs.  She has held both primary line and executive staff responsibilities for student support functions and departments.  Deb's most recent position in higher education was as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs-Student Development at UMKC where she had responsibility for Student Life, Counseling, Health and Testing, Residential Life, Minority Student Affairs and the Women's Center.  Deb's other experiences have included student recruitment and admissions, strategic planning and human resources management. In her role in HPM, Deb provides operational support and systems development for the department, recruits and advises students in course sequencing, and aids in alumni relations and development.
