Monday, September 17 to be considered for a Trainee Oral Presentation.
Midnight, Thursday, September 27th to be included in the program booklet and to participate in the Poster Session

POSTER SIZE

Preferred poster size is 4 ft x 4 ft to maximize poster board space.  We have room for 40 posters, sized 4 ft x 4 ft.

Please note: if poster board space is available, we will accommodate posters larger than 4 ft x 4 ft, but there is no guarantee. 

 

TRAINEE POSTER COMPETITION

The Trainee Poster Competition is open to all trainees who submit an abstract.  A total of 4 awards will be given, with 2 awards going to the best postdoctoral fellow posters and 2 awards going to the best graduate student posters.  In order to participate, you must indicate your intentions by marking Yes or No below.

TRAINEE ORAL PRESENTATION - ABSTRACTS DUE SEPTEMBER 17

This year, the organizing committee will review and select 4 trainee abstracts for oral presentation.  The oral presentations will be 8 minutes in length with 2 minutes for Q&A.  To be considered for the oral presentation, it is crucial that your abstract be submitted by Monday, September 17 so the committee has sufficient time to review the abstracts and communicate their decision to the trainee presenters.  Giving an oral presentation does not exclude you from participating in the Trainee Poster Competition.  Please indicate your intentions by marking Yes or No below.

ATTACH YOUR ABSTRACT

Abstracts must be in Word format and should include abstract title, all authors and their respective institutions/affiliations. Please use Arial 11 pt as your font type and size, and set margins at 1 inch. Please limit abstracts to 300 words, and attach your Word document in the in space provided below.

Once you hit "submit", you will receive a confirmation of abstract submission from greenwaldsymposium@kumc.edu. This is not an auto-response, so if you submit the abstract on the weekend or after hours, the response will come on the next business day.
