Close ties to Genetics Clinic, staffed by an individual with a library background, a valuable resource for general public as well as for health professionals who don't have access to patient materials and/or specific information about specific disorders (e.g., public health nurses). The close ties with a Genetics centre are important to assure that appropriate information is distributed, and that information about the availability of Clinical Genetics services is provided.
