Facilities Management provides routine and emergency maintenance 24 hours a day for over 3 million square feet of campus building space. Service is available during normal work days by using our new Work Request Resources Page . Contact phone numbers and e-mail links for Facilities shop managers are also listed on the work request page. For after hours service evenings 4PM-7:30AM, on weekends, and during holidays, please call our Night & Weekend Maintenance shop at 588-7928 (messages left on this phone during normal working hours will not be listened to until after 4PM).

Comprised of Facilities Planning, Construction Services, and Maintenance Services, the Department of Facilities Management operation is overseen by Don Rau, Director of Facilities Management, 588-7900.

Facilities Management (FM) is dedicated to providing, operating, and maintaining facilities in support of the University of Kansas Medical Center's (KUMC) mission. FM is responsible for planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and alterations of KUMC's facilities.
