The mission of Construction Services is to provide the University of Kansas Medical Center a top quality renovation and construction services program that ensures work is completed in a professional, cost effective, and customer friendly manner.
Renovations and small discretionary (billable) projects are generated by submitting a Work Request.
Large projects require lead-time for plans and to initiate a formal process due to funding, building codes, and State requirements. Construction Services specializes in doing Laboratory Renovations. Please contact your Administrative Officer to initiate a project request.
Construction Services can also assist researchers in obtaining custom made parts for special equipment, or machining parts if needed.
David Rau (ext. 8-7974) is the Move Coordinator for all Jayhawk Construction projects. He assists our customers in changing addresses, signage, scheduling movers, coordinating with furniture contractors, etc.
