KU Medical Center serves the citizens of Kansas, the region and the nation by developing, implementing and promoting model health care programs, and through numerous charitable, philanthropic and mission-oriented endeavors.

The University of Kansas Medical Center's landscape has been transformed over the last several years in an effort to share the beauty with the community influenced by our campus.

Our mission to educate others concerning the medical benefits of plant-based horticulture while supporting the University's greater mission of service was enhanced in 2018 with the addition of the  University of Kansas Medical Center Botanic Gardens.  By partnering with different KUMC departments, community groups, educational institutions, state and local governments, our goal is to be a destination center and regional source of healing and health information utilized for generations to come. We are truly a conduit to make the lives of our patients, visitors, and employees better.

150 Trees

The 150 Trees Campaign was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who helped us beautify our campus and improve the environment by purchasing a tree during the campaign.
