KUMC defines an event as any meetings, activities, or occasions held in any rooms or open/variable set-up spaces; this excludes student credit-based courses. Event clean-up is provided by University Housekeeping to ensure all facilities (classrooms, atriums, conference rooms, etc.) present a clean and attractive campus environment to our internal and external customers. Please refer to the Policy on the Use of University Space and Resources. Event requests should be submitted using the Event Services Request Form.
Event clean up includes:
Note: We do not have standby staff available to address last minute cleaning requests, as a result, additional fees will be charged for failing to adhere to university policy (e.g. serving food/drink in restricted areas) or failing to notify housekeeping of events where food/drink will be served within 48 hours of the event's start time (applies to all event locations).
KUMC Room Reservations: Facilities Management does not manage room reservation requests. Please make all scheduling requests through TLT Media through the online room request form.
