Radioactive Materials License (KS-18-C800)

The Radioactive Materials License issued by KDHE governs the use of radioactive materials for the purpose of:

  • Laboratory research and development -- but SHALL NOT include "the internal or external administration of radiation or radioactive materials to any individual" [see also KDHE K.A.R. 28-35-135r],
  • Use of calibration and radiation sources and components of devices used in laboratory research,
  • Use of radioactive materials in in-vitro chemistry
